This web site is the result of policy makers in Oregon who want to support young people to be great and to develop in healthy and caring citizens. This site is here to dispel expressions such as “Youth are to be seen and not heard.” On this web site you'll find information about young Oregonians doing important work in their communities across the state. We also hope the site will encourage you to take leadership in your own community. If you notice a problem somewhere, don't just speak up, come up with a solution and work with adults and other young people in your community to implement a solution.
