A journal of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, The Future of Children promotes effective policies and programs for children by providing policymakers, service providers, and the media with the best available research. The web site posts current and past issues of the journal, accompanied by executive summaries, author bios, and Issues and Idea Guides. Other online resources provide fast facts of important child well-being statistics, an index of all journal figures and tables, a free email newsletter, and links to Packard Foundation grantees in the fields of child research, policy, and advocacy.
